Just when you think you had it all…...

 

There’s nothing like a classic Borrowed from the Boys look. I left the trousers behind this time, but acquired this elegant tie. Rather than wearing it the traditional way with a collar shirt, I’ve decided to dress it up as a necklace. I needed an extra dose of extravagance, so I pinned this lion head brooch from Zara onto the tie knot.

I take satisfaction in experimenting and stretching my fashion parameters. I am extremely fascinated with the appearance of socks and pumps. Pairing socks with heels is not a new trend, but a trend that will have longevity. I love how the lace design on the ankle socks interact with the snake print on my L.A.M.B Avery snakeskin pumps, which flows nicely with the baroque print on my tie.

I’ve decided to add bursts of color to my Fall fashion.  It is warm enough to wear sandals, but windy enough to adorn this Forever 21 faux fur capelet. I love how these bright, bold colors play nice together in my cartoon fantasy world. The touch of brown from the capelet brings the outfit back to more of a Fall look. I have on three animal prints that I’m pretty sure would not get along in the wild, but somehow work quite well together in the world of fashion.

I love mixing animal prints. Combinations like zebra and cheetah, tiger and snake, or leopard, are a joy to create outfits with. If you are not quite sure you want to fully commit to the trend of mixing animal prints, keep it subtle and simple.  Allow your prints to be small pieces like a clutch, necklace, bracelet, or minimal amount on your shoes.

Finally you put my love on top…...
 

Although it is Fall, the weather is pleasantly warm. I decided to wear this crop top that I designed a while back. When I designed this top, crop tops were nowhere to be found at the time and I needed this particular item. Today crop tops are so abundant and not just wearable in the summer. I paired it with this lovely midi length skirt with the cutest sparkle details from Forever 21. I love wearing midi length skirts with a wide waist belt. It takes an all black look from bland to bombshell in an instant.
